Chimpers, a Web3 digital-first character brand with nearly two million social media followers, enters the world of physical collectibles.

The brand is partnering with 223, a top IP incubator and marketplace. The first in this drop will be the Series 1 Plush Keychain Blind Box collection. Each new plush will feature well-known Chimpers characters in a collectible format.

The collectibles will give consumers an even deeper digital experience. Upon purchase, fans can unlock interactive experiences, digital cards, and rewards through the Chimpers Card app.

“Our vision is to propel Chimpers into pop culture,” says the Chimpers co-founder, Jacob Timperley. “We’re not just building a Web3 brand, we’re creating a character-driven world that fans can collect, connect with, and fall in love with, both online and in real life. We’re building the future of digital-first character IP one smile at a time!”

Chimpers plans to attend key events such as the Licensing Expo, the Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC), and Toy Fair.

It’s no surprise blind boxes are one of our core connected collectible formats at 223,” says Cole Gurman, CEO of 223. “But launching Series 1 with Chimpers hits different — they’ve built one of the most compelling worlds in Web3. The characters, the lore, the community — it’s the kind of IP we love to build with.”

With plans to grow the collectible line from here, fans can expect seasonal drops, limited-edition collaborations, and gamified merchandise experiences. The Series One collectibles will release through 223’s collectible marketplace, with plans to later expand into retail locations.
