Most Chase cardholders know that they earn additional points for Lyft rides, but the Lyft experience for Chase Sapphire Reserve® (see rates and fees) cardholders has even more to offer.
Cardholders also receive a $10 monthly Lyft in-app credit, which can add up to $120 in savings annually to use on rides through Sept. 30, 2027.
What Lyft benefits do I get as a Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholder?
As a Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholder, you already earn 1 point per dollar on all purchases, but with Lyft, you’ll receive an extra 4 points on eligible Lyft rides (car rentals excluded) through Sept. 30, 2027.
As a cardholder, you also receive up to $10 in monthly in-app credits, up to $120 annually, to use on Lyft rides. Benefits runs through Sept. 30, 2027.
The credit applies to Standard, Extra Comfort, XL, Black, or Black SUV ride modes and may not apply to all Lyft charges or services. Wait & Save, bike or scooter rides on the Lyft app may be eligible, so try at your own risk.
As a Sapphire Reserve cardholder, you’ll also receive a complimentary DoorDash DashPass subscription (activate by Dec. 31, 2027). If you link this membership to your Lyft account, you can receive discounts on your rides each month.

Bottom line
The monthly $10 ride credit toward Lyft rides is useful and helps offset the Chase Sapphire Reserve’s steep $795 annual fee. Just keep in mind that you can’t use this credit on certain types of Lyft rides and it doesn’t roll over month-to-month.
If you rarely use ride-hailing apps, then this benefit provides little value. But if you’re naturally using Lyft each month, this benefit can help you save some extra cash.
