I’m thrilled to be unboxing the Just Scribbles Planner today — which has a unique layout and might be one of the first to offer Tomoe River Paper alternatives next year! Fountain pen fans, this is one to watch.

In this video, I’ll take you through a detailed flip through of the Just Scribbles planner and compare it side-by-side with my Hobonichi Cousin and Sterling Ink Common Planner. All three are A5 sized and currently use Tomoe River paper, but only Just Scribbles has announced a paper change for 2026 after recent quality concerns.

Could this be my new catch-all planner for next year? Let’s find out together!
