After a fantastic season for Brentford, Manchester United can be glad that that Bryan Mbeumo picked us after interest from a whole host of clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle.
Our no.19 has spoken to the club’s official site about what drew him to Old Trafford.
I’m really happy to be here. From the start, I wanted to join this massive club. Now I’m here, I’m just really happy. For me, it’s the biggest club in the world. I think the fans are crazy, the stadium is amazing, and every player wants to play here. My first top was Manchester United’s top with Ronaldo behind. It’s just such a big club and I’m really happy to be here.
Mbeumo is also a fan of Ruben Amorim and wants to impress the manager and show everyone what he can do.
He [Amorim] seems really close to his players. His mentality, his winning thinking every time, this is the thing I need. I always wanted to play at the highest level. Now I’m here and I just want to show what I can do.
