Carnival Cruise Line is celebrating another wonderful milestone at its brand-new exclusive destination, Celebration Key, with the inaugural visit of the magnificent Mardi Gras. The arrival of the fleet’s first Excel-class ship at the destination is a beautiful testament to the success and excitement surrounding this new Bahamian paradise. Docking alongside the Carnival Pride, the two ships brought an incredible 9,000 guests to enjoy the ultimate day of fun and relaxation.

Having just opened, Celebration Key is already redefining the cruise experience with its spectacular blend of adventure and serenity. The 65-acre destination is a tropical haven, featuring a 1.5-mile stretch of pristine beach, the largest freshwater lagoons in the Caribbean, and the world’s largest swim-up bar. Guests can explore five distinct “portals,” each offering unique experiences, from the ultra-fun family adventures at Starfish Lagoon to the serene, adults-only Pearl Cove Beach Club.
