When it comes to enjoying a drink, the Carnival Vista bars offer cruisers an impressive array of options to make the most of their beverage packages. From intimate lounges to lively pool deck bars, Carnival Vista caters to every taste and mood throughout your cruise experience. Not sure where to grab your first cocktail? We’ve just returned from a cruise on this popular Carnival ship and have compiled this comprehensive guide to all the bars, with current menus and drink prices. Whether you’re looking for craft cocktails, frozen drinks, or a good beer, we cover it all.
Carnival Vista Bars With Menus
If you’ve sailed on other Carnival Cruise Line ships, you’re probably pretty familiar with the line’s signature bars and lounges. If you’re a first-time cruiser, then you’ll likely be impressed with the variety of bars, atmospheres, and drinks on Carnival Vista. Many have signature beverage menus while others serve the standard bar menu. So, let’s take a look at what’s available.
Vista Bar (Deck 3)
The namesake Vista Bar is located in the Atrium on Deck 3 with the larger-than-life LED display. You can enjoy a drink here almost any time of day while you admire the changing scenes. The Atrium also hosts Fun Squad events like zen coloring and the White Hot Party as well as live music in the evenings and the Captain’s Welcome Reception. So, you’ll certainly want to grab a few cocktails and join in on the fun. The Vista Bar serves the standard menu with a variety of classic cocktails, beer, and wine.

Liquid Lounge (Deck 4)
The ship’s main theater, Liquid Lounge, has a full bar in the back of the venue for you to grab some drinks while enjoying a show. Several events are held in the Liquid Lounge including the Playlist Productions, Bingo, Family Feud, Deal or No Deal, the popular Love and Marriage game show, port talks, and more.

Heroes Tribute Bar (Deck 4)
A signature lounge on many Carnival ships is the Heroes Tribute Bar. This military themed venue pays tribute to the Armed Forces and their families. Along with patriotic decor and memorabilia, this bar houses large screen televisions to watch sporting events and a signature drink menu. The menu features drinks like the Blue Angel, Green Beret, Homefront Martini, and some of your favorite brews.

Limelight Lounge (Deck 4)
The Limelight Lounge is a multi-use space that is home to a variety of activities. It hosts art auctions, ocassional trivia sessions, karaoke on select evenings, and doubles as the comedy club. There are several family-friendly and adult-only comedy shows held during the cruise. Of course, you’ll probably want a drink to go along with all the fun. While there is no bar here, the venue has servers waiting to take your order.
Piano Bar 88 (Deck 5)
Piano Bar 88 is a staple Carnival venue as well. This lounge is home to live piano music and a signature cocktail menu. If you’re a fan of piano bars, you will want to stop in and request your favorite songs. Although, this one wasn’t as rowdy as we’ve seen on other Carnival ships. And, why not grab a drink, like the Showstopper, B Sharp, Ragtime, or Standing “O”, to go along with the tunes.

Alchemy Bar (Deck 5)
Probably our favorite bar on the ship is the Alchemy Bar. This craft cocktail bar is a throwback to a 19th century apothecary. From the drink names, to the bartenders’ white lab coats, this venue has a unique flair. So, we highly suggest you have these master mixologists stir up one of the exclusive elixirs, like the Alchemist’s Sidecar, the Cucumber Sunrise, or the Forty is the New Twenty. You won’t be disappointed! Don was a fan of the Robert Boyle too if you need the cold brew pick-me-up.

RedFrog Pub and Brewery (Deck 5)
If you’re a beer lover, then you will be a fan of the exclusive RedFrog Pub and Brewery on Carnival Vista. In fact, it is North America’s first-ever brewery at sea. This venue is home to ThirstyFrog and ParchedPig craft brews, and you can even take a brewery tour to find out how the magic happens at sea. Besides delicious pints, you can also find cocktails, live music, and pub games here. This lively yet chill spot might become one of your favorites on the ship.

Java Blue Cafe (Deck 5)
Java Blue Cafe is the dedicated coffee shop on Carnival ships. Located off the Ocean Plaza on Carnival Vista, this venue opens at 6 AM most mornings for cruisers to get their caffeine fix. Serving espresso-based beverages and milk shakes that are included in the Cheers drink package, you might find yourself visiting this cafe quite a bit; we did!

Plaza Bar (Deck 5)
Set off in the corner of the popular Ocean Plaza, the Plaza Bar will be your go-to spot to enjoy a cocktail while you are participating in one of the many events that occur here. From trivia, games, dance classes, karaoke, and live music in the evening, there is plenty to keep you entertained. When you get thirsty, you can order up your favorite drink from the standard menu. The Plaza Bar also serves espresso beverages if the line is too long at Java Blue.
Havana Bar (Deck 5)
While the Havana pool and outdoor deck space are exclusive to guests staying in Havana accommodations, the Havana Bar is open to all cruisers. At night, live music and dancing are regularly featured in this well-themed Latin space. Not to mention, the Havana Bar has a signature drink menu, serving up classic Latin-inspired cocktails.

BlueIguana Tequila Bar (Deck 10)
The BlueIguana Tequila Bar is a signature watering hole on Carnival Cruise Line ships. This festive Mexican-inspired bar is located on the Lido deck in the middle of all the action. The signature menu features a variety of margaritas, both frozen and on the rocks, as well as beer and other tequila offerings. So, be sure to grab your favorite margarita while enjoying a sea day by the pool.

RedFrog Rum Bar (Deck 10)
Located across the way from the Tequila Bar is another Carnival Lido deck staple, the RedFrog Rum Bar. If flashbacks of tequila from your college days is a turn off, you might prefer to enjoy some signature rum drinks while relaxing poolside. The RedFrog offers classic rum drinks with a twist along with other favorites. From the Rum Jumper to the Mango Magic, there are plenty of fun drinks to sample.

Tides Bar (Deck 10)
The Tides Pool, located completely aft on Deck 10, provides a nice additional space besides the more midship Beach Pool. This pool offers a more relaxed vibe and some amazing aft views. If you’re looking for a drink while lounging by this pool, there is the nearby Tides Pool Bar. This bar features the standard menu with classic drinks like a Bahama Mama or a Tequila Sunrise. And if you get hungry, the Seafood Shack ($) and Pizzeria del Capitano are nearby as well.

Serenity Bar (Deck 15)
Lastly, Deck 15 is home to the Serenity Retreat. This is the perfect place to escape the kids and families while sailing on Carnival Vista. This adults-only space features two whirlpools, one on each side of the ship, along with a mix of loungers, day beds, and other seating options. Central to the Serenity Adults Only Retreat is the Serenity Bar and Fresh Creations salad bar. This bar includes its own specialty drink menu, featuring sangria and other refreshing libations perfect for sipping on a sea day.
