Mattel Celebrates 80th Anniversary with Exclusive Hot Wheels Set

To celebrate its 80th anniversary, Mattel has revealed a new exclusive Hot Wheels set. The Mattel 80th Anniversary Hot Wheels Original 16 Rally Case Set allows consumers to expand their toy car collections. 

The anniversary set introduces premium replicas of the first Hot Wheels cars from 1968. With 16 original vehicles, collectors can collect well-known cars like Beatnik Bandit, Ford J-Car, Hot Heap, Silhouette, Cheetah, and more.

Inspired by Hot Wheels’ history of applying a clear gloss coat on high-polish metal, these vehicles shine in Spectraflame Ruby Red, honoring 80 years of Mattel’s success. The cars’ designs also take after classic California muscle cars and hot rod culture, with stone-cold real-world classics and far-out designs.
