Dillian Whyte plans to fight on despite brutal KO defeat to Moses Itauma: “This is not where my story ends”

Former world title contender Dillian Whyte (37-4, 21 KOs) was brutally KO’d in under two minutes by 20-year-old rising heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs) on August 16 in Saudi.

It was a worrying performance, as the 37-year-old showed all the signs of a fighter well past his sell-by date..

The 37-year-old veteran wasn’t able to land his jab, falling well short, and was all at sea at the first signs of pressure.

The Jamaican-born boxer stumbled back into the ropes after a right hook grazed the top of his dome and he was floored and stopped very soon after.

Despite such a bruising defeat, ‘The Brixton Body Snatcher’ has surprisingly revealed that he has no plans of hanging up his gloves anytime soon.

“This is not where my story ends,” Londoner Whyte revealed. “I may have lost this fight, but not the fire that built me.”
