The Uganda National 7s Series heads to Kabale Municipal Stadium on September 20 and 21 for the sixth and penultimate round of the 2025 circuit, Kabale 7s.

This will be the second time in history the series is played in Kabale after its first outing in 2021 which was won by Pirates, and it will also mark the first time the women’s category will feature in the region.

Walukuba Barbarians lead the Buffaloes by twelve points in the men’s overall standings while the Thunderbirds have a six-point advantage over the Avengers in the women’s race.

Should the Avengers and Buffaloes fail to make it to the main cup knockout stage the series will be all but sealed in Kabale, but if Thunderbirds and Walukuba falter then the title chase will go to the final stop the following weekend.
