Welcome to Wrestling Inc.’s live coverage for “AEW Dynamite” on September 24, 2025, coming to you live from the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!
Kris Statlander will be putting the AEW Women’s World Championship on the line for the first time since winning at AEW All Out as she defends against reigning Ring of Honor Women’s World Television Champion Mina Shirakawa. During Saturday’s pay-per-view event, Statlander emerged victorious against Thekla, Jamie Hayter, and former titleholder Toni Storm in a Four-Way Match, putting an end to Storm’s 217 day reign in the process.
After himself and Josh Alexander were unsuccessful in challenging Brody King and Bandido for the AEW World Tag Team Championship in a Four-Way Ladder Match that also involved The Young Bucks and JetSpeed, Hechicero looks to redeem himself tonight as he joins forces with his Don Callis Family stablemates Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada to square off with The Conglomeration’s Mark Briscoe, Hologram, and a mystery partner in a Trios Match. Although Briscoe and Hologram’s partner remains to be seen, their stablemate Orange Cassidy’s return was teased ahead of tonight’s show.
Additionally, AEW CEO and President Tony Khan has an announcement to make on tonight’s show.
We are live! Excalibur, Taz, and Bryan Danielson greet audiences at home as Gates Of Agony and Ricochet make their way to the ring. Brody King and Bandido follow.
Brody King and Bandido (c) vs. Gates Of Agony (w/ Ricochet) for the AEW World Tag Team Championship
Bandido and Toa Liona begin the action. The bell rings and Bandido fires off chops on Liona. He follows it up with a trio to dropkicks, but Liona pushes Bandido out of the air on the third one and tags in Bishop Kaun. Kaun levels Bandido with a chop of his own, then follows it up with a bodyslam and tags Liona back in.
Liona lands two more bodyslams of his own on Bandido, then tags out to Kaun. Kaun continues wearing down Bandido, then tags in Liona. King tags in on his side and fires off chops on Liona and Kaun. He levels Liona with a right hand, but Kaun dumps King onto the apron. Liona catches King with a superkick and gets him up on his shoulders, but King escapes and sends Liona crashing into the top of the ring post face first. King delivers a lariat to Kaun back in the ring and goes for a pin, but Kaun kicks out.
Back from the break, Kaun lands a pair of overhand chops on King and fires off knees on him in the corner. King whips Kaun into Liona after Liona has tagged in, then connects with a cannonball on Liona and tags in Bandido.
Bandido wastes no time going after Liona and Kaun, but Kaun rocks Bandido with a right hand and Bandido sends him crashing into Liona. Liona lands a stomp on Bandido, but King gets both Liona and Kaun up and lands a double back suplex on them. Liona sends King crashing through the timekeeper’s table, and Ricochet looks to take advantage by hitting Bandido with a chair. Before he can do so, however, the referee catches him and ejects him from ringside. Bandido rolls up Kaun, but Kaun kicks out.
Kaun levels Bandido with a clothesline, then connects with a double chokeslam on him with Liona. He goes for a pin, but King manages to break the fall. King then dumps Liona out of the ring and lands boots on him and Kaun before flying through the ring to level Liona on the outside. This opens the door for Bandido to connect with the 21 Plex on Kaun for the win.
Winners (and still): Brody King and Bandido
“Hangman” Adam Page then makes his way to the ring. Lee Moriarty follows.

The bell rings and the two lock up. They go back and forth with one another, but Moriarty lands a back elbow on Page. Page responds with a shoulder tackle and a bodyslam to Moriarty, then runs him over with a boot.
